All Done!!
Well, I've finally done it! I finished my last final today and also picked up my cap and gown for the graduation ceremony. It still hasn't sunk in yet, but I am incredibly excited that I have no more undergraduate courses left! Now I can focus on my trip to Europe over the next six days! Lots of final touches remain, but I am mostly done with all the planning and prepping for the trip!

College Athletics Also Almost Over
This last weekend, my baseball team played in Idaho and it was the last road trip of my collegiate athletic career. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to play baseball after my basketball eligibility finished up. I obviously had a lot more passion about basketball, but it was a bittersweet moment when it finally set in that the end of my college career is near. I pitched in the first game of the series and we were losing. The rest of my team acted like the game was over and it felt like the air had been taken out of our sails. I stayed positive until the last out was made. After the game I went and talked to my parents and they told me how proud of me that they were. It made me sad that this was the last time that my parents take a road trip to come see me play. I have been supported my entire life and I could not ask for more from my parents. It is sad, but I couldn't be happier with my experiences. It made me take a step back and realize how many teammates I had throughout the years of playing that never had their parents there. I hope that one day I will be able to come see all of my children's games. I thank my parents for everything they have done.
We have our conference tournament starting Wednesday and I am going to cherish the fact that I have had a wonderful athletic career. I thank everyone who has helped me reach this point!
One final down, two more to go!
I just finished my first final and I only have two left before I am officially done with college! I have one tonight and one more tomorrow morning! Being done with school has just now crept in... Every stage of life leads to another and this next stage of my life is exciting! I have a meeting with the coach at Portland State in a couple days to see about the possibility of coaching on his staff this next year. It would be an incredible opportunity to work at a Division One program in my first year out of college. Wish me luck!

Last Full Week of College!
It is crazy to think that I walked into Concordia University five years ago. It really doesn't seem that long ago. Through all of my experiences, I have grown and matured immensely. Everyone who has helped me grow, I can't thank you enough. I have had a bumpy ride, but I would not have changed anything as I have learned more about myself than I thought I would. I know what I want to do for the rest of my life and it is not a job, it is a passion.
This the start of my last full week of college before finals. The year is winding down, and all I can think about is my upcoming trip. The opportunity to travel is something I have always had a passion for and I am now getting to capitalize on that passion.
I am making the final touches to my packing and getting ready for a long, long trip that is going to shape me even more! I thank everyone who has helped me along the way and I can't wait to start telling you all about Europe!!!!!!

25 Days and Counting!!!!
The beginning of my trip is coming quickly! The group just had our second to last meeting before we leave and everyone is excited! For me, what is going to happen within the next two and half months is going to be unbelievable. I am completing my undergraduate degree on May 4th, and I'm leaving May 6th! Pretty quick turn-around.
I thank everyone who has helped me reach this opportunity! I have always wanted to travel the world and see things outside my backyard and this is just a start! It is definitely hard to imagine that I will be gone for that long, but I will make sure to be connected to everyone through this blog!
25 days!!!
