The timeshare is absolutely beautiful as it is on the shore of the Seine River. Our apartment has a balcony that overlooks the river and is very calm. We were so tired from our travels that we just crashed once we got there and when we finally fell asleep, we didn't wake up until noon the next day. We had planned to just take a day to relax at the timeshare ad recharge our batteries!!!

Bonjour Paris!!!
The first thing about Paris is that it is very overwhelming. Everyone was speaking French and it was hard to understand or catch things of what people were saying. We needed to make our way from Paris Gare de Lyon to the airport because we had reserved a car for the week. We found the underground subway system, RER, and made it all the way out to Charles de Gaulle. After asking a few people where the rental car services were, we found Budget and thought we would be on our way. When doing my research, the minimum age to rent a car in France is 21. The deal we got on the car was perfect for us because the timeshare is out a bit from any public transportation. We would take the car into the train station and then take the train everywhere else. Nowhere on the site did it ask for my age or that there would be a fee for being under 25. So anyways, we checked in and the woman asked how old I was, 23, and then told us that there is a €30/day fee. That would have put the price of the car way over what we were thinking. So we bagged that idea and made our way to Paris Gare St. Lazare. The train from Paris was nonstop to Rouen, where we thought was the closest train station to our timeshare. From the Rouen train station, we found a grocery store, then took a taxi to the timeshare, Le Manoir des Deux Amants!
