Celebration!

After leaving the cathedral we had to find our Albergue called Roots and Boots. The funny thing is how long it takes everyone to start washing up for the rest of the night. After walking for 13 or more miles each day, it is such a relief to take off your pack and shoes. And once you sit or lay down you do not want to get back up. But eventually you get the courage to get up and shower. It took about an hour for everyone to finally wash up and for us to plan out a dinner!
We ended up going to a little cafe and ordering a bunch of plates of Tapas (kinda like appetizers) and everyone taking whatever they want off of them. I tried Pulpo (octopus) and even are the tentacles. After eating dinner, we walked around the city for a bit until finding a bar that looked interesting. It was an awesome night with everyone happy that there is no more walking.

There are a fair amount of people over 6 feet tall, but I can't help but notice all the short people. And I mean under 5 feet tall people. An elderly woman walked by our group and I had to send Sarah to stand by her so I could take a picture. Here you go...

It was a long night of celebration and happiness. It is so cool that we are experiencing this with a great group of people!
