Start of Day 2: Portomarin to O Pedrouzo

After the best nights sleep I could imagine, I am refreshed and ready to walk today! The group has decided that it would be smarter for us to take a taxi from Portomarin to Arzua and then walk the rest of the day to O Pedrouzo. They have decided this because it will give us one more free day in Santiago which will allow one day for the church and city and then one day to go to the coast!!! The walk from Arzua to O Pedrouzo is 12 miles. Breakfast consisted of toast with butter and strawberry jam and 'cafe con leche,' which was amazing. The coffee with milk has been so good. Sorry Starbucks! The countryside so far is so green and the weather is overcast. Hopefully the sun will come out on the walk portion of it! Until next post, ¡Buen Camino!
